Very interesting. I (long time ago) stumbled across a Westinghouse add using the same design to announce that they have been selected as a contractor for the Lowry Titan I complexes. Bears some similarities to the final design, but still has some work to do.
Perhaps that mole people movie was based upon this? Actually, living in the desert, it sounds like a nice way to live to me.
