My oldest brother (born in 49) had a bedroom with a microscope, a telescope, and a long line of SciFi books with covers that looked like that beautiful artwork. I remember as a kid thinking he was a mad scientist. I have always had a crazy fascination for 50s art/scifi/musicals/fashion/music. If I believed in reincarnation, I'd think I was very happy in that era. That picture really reminds me of one my favorite SciFi movies, "Them!" It's crazy how the art/fonts/style/colors can get you all nostalgic.
